2003 Clare Valley Riesling
Our grower in the Armagh subregion of the Clare Valley, just north of the township of Clare, produced absolutely sensational fruit for us again in 2003, which was a stunning follow-up to the classic 2002 vintage. As a result, our 2003 Clare Valley riesling is another special wine.
Pale yellow. Enticing, classic Clare riesling nose of green apples, honeysuckle and a touch of fritz. Explosion of fruit on the palate, with lovely, soft, but clean, acid, which lingers gracefully. Apple, lemon and lime are the flavours. Great with Thai food, e.g. yum prawn salad. Will live for 10 to 15 years under its screw cap.
