2000 Clare Valley Riesling
Pale, white gold colour. Intense spicy, crab-apple nose. South Australians may smell fritz. A delicious limey, honeysuckle palate, which fills the mouth and closes with a piercing lemon acid finish. A refreshing, but very serious, Riesling, drinking superbly as a young wine. A great match with all seafoods, but also with Asian dishes. Try the wine with chargrilled spicy octopus salad.
